This directory holds project-level documents that used to live at the repository root. Root pointers remain only where existing checks or external links expect them.

Operator workflow	Single-operator workflow and local check lanes.
Quality playbook	Quality gate policy, coverage, lint, and mutation-testing guidance.
Release process	Release checklist, tag workflow, and post-release verification.
Release candidate qualification	Pre-tag exact-wheel qualification with no publishing authority.
Enterprise offerings	Open-source core and optional enterprise support boundaries.
Adaptive investigation roadmap	Investigation/autopilot chain roadmap and safety posture.

Root compatibility pointers

ARCHITECTURE.md, WORKFLOW.md, QUALITY_PLAYBOOK.md, ENTERPRISE_OFFERINGS.md, RELEASE.md, and ROADMAP.md remain as short root pointers because existing checks and external links may still look for those paths.
